The global price of 3D Rendering

Updated: Oct 1, 2020

In today’s world, the average price for rendering a high-quality 3D still image will set you back between $350 and $1000.00. That’s for small to medium-sized projects. What about big projects? Here, a studio will charge you anything from $2500 and up. For standard 3D animation, you'll pay anything from $1000.00 to $5000.00 and even more depending on the video's complexity and duration. Every studio sets its fee, but typically the better quality the work, the higher the price. You're also going to pay a lot more for your animation in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, than you will in China, Sri Lanka, and India, where prices range from $250 to $500.00.

However, with ever-advancing and readily available 3D rendering technology, price does not automatically indicate that cheaper vendors will not be able to produce life-like renderings that look close to a photograph of the products you’re trying to sell online. However, low quality renders can give a wrong impression of your product or service, and you may lose a sale or credibility. When choosing a studio, there are other obstacles along the way – is the portfolio they show on their website stolen from others? Are they using ready-made scenes or models that you buy as you would from an image bank – and does this suit your unique product? If you want an in-house artist to work on your project, do they understand your sector, how much will it cost you, how long will it take, and how much hand-holding will it involve? Many questions and much food for thought make many eCommerce sellers avoid using 3D all together despite its apparent benefits. But what if you could render yourself from your phone, or any device, using a simple app and having results in seconds? Welcome to MAOF! Contact us for more information!
